The Portrait Booth
The Portrait Booth is a live photographic homage to the intimate, quirky portrait photography of the early 20th Century. It's a mix of a street-side photo booth, a circa-1920 portrait studio and an old-time vacation photo. We shoot with a vintage Polaroid in a canvas booth on instant black and white film. The booth makes appearances around the Portland area at gallery openings, street fairs and other happenings. It's also available for your event, whether a fundraiser, wedding reception, trade fair or music festival.
Portrait Sittings
We're available to shoot vintage-inspired portraits on location in the Portland area, or wherever we happen to be traveling. Our portraits have made appearances as artist bio photographs, band promo shots, stills for film projects, staff profiles, engagement announcements and more. We aim for the experience of the classic portrait — no rapid-fire digital capture — just deliberate, considered photographs on classic instant film.
